Rally Held in FL to Protest PIP Fraud Issue

On Wednesday, January 25,2012, Governor Scott of Florida spoke to his constituents at the state capital about auto insurance fraud. New statistics have found that the state pays more than one billion dollars in auto insurance due to the fact that criminals are staging automobile accidents.

This process has become so easy for people to get away with. For example, a driver of a sedan might get close to you when you are heading to a stop light. Once the stop light turns red, the driver may sudden stop and if you are not paying attention then you might accidentally rear end the driver in question.

The driver of the other vehicle who suddenly was involved in the rear end collision might appear to be irate.

US Government Trying to Have Keyless Ignition Systems in Cars for Safety

Everyone remembers when Toyota vehicles were on the news because they would travel at high speeds and then would be unable to stop. This created a huge safety issue and hurt Toyotas reputation.

The federal government has come up with an idea to stop this from ever happening again. They want to begin to require vehicles to have key less ignition systems. These systems would automatically shut off a car so that it could not move. The system would have a stop button that a driver could easily push to activate it.

This is a great idea that could save lives and also help to reduce auto issuance rates. Many accidents happens because cars could not slow down and avoid as collision.
